High Density Foam Rubber

Furniture Repair of Raleigh specialize in Replacement Sofa Seat & Back Cushions with 24 hour turnaround and On-Site Recliner Repair. Seats must be removable (not attached) although all back cushions can be serviced through zipper and removable pillow case. 

We only use firmer High Density Foam Rubber (Usually yellow in color). There are retailers that sell standard density foam (usually white in color) and High Density Foam with a lower firmness. We use a firmer variety wrapped in a plush padding to not only offer more comfort, but the firmer foam compensates for worn metal springs sinking in.

Most furniture manufacturers now ship new sofas with flimsy standard density foam which we've seen wear out within a week. Some stores even sell sofas with cheap springs within the cushion because the metal is cheaper than foam rubber. 

Our foam rubber is manufactured to last 13 years. Although we don't warranty the foam, we've yet to see any or our foam rubber worn out.
